The 10-hour Construction Outreach Training Program is intended to provide awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by the OSHA Construction Standards. Workers must receive additional training, per 29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2) on the specific hazards of the construction job. This class is required for many construction workers by New York and several New England States.
